All About the Dog

Text Box: November 2002 a memorable time. A trip to a remote farm high on Bodmin Moor to see a Jack Russell just six weeks old. The farmer led us to a dilapidated draughty old barn and there in a dark corner were two of the cutest jrt’s you could ever wish for. I would have taken them both but the farmer said he was going to keep the female. This left one little puppy which was promptly thrust into my arms and I was instantly in love. Little did I know what we had let ourselves in for!
Weeks of sleepless nights later and the toilet training was successfully accomplished. Praise and reward was the only way. Puppy training classes were now on the agenda.
We’ve walked miles and miles and miles and Trevor well he never tires!
Now we thought small dog, few hairs, how wrong was that, he continuously moults, something that we never expected. (poor vacuum cleaner and carpet and clean house) All that aside we couldn’t do without him. If your lonely he’s there, if your upset he’s there. In fact he’s always there for you friend and foe and constant companion.
Don’t be put off by the downside, the hairs, the training, the walking, the big dog in a tiny body, they’re feisty, definitely a character, a personality, entertainer and best of all companion and always a point of conversation so you’ll never be lonely!
